The credit for establishing Sant Tukaram Primary School of Pune District Education Board goes to Dattatraybhau Khandve. Dattatraybhau Khandve made great efforts to bring this school to the village.

He gave his own land for the construction of that school. Similarly, he also provided financial assistance in the construction of the school building.

The knowledge sapling planted by Dattatraybhau has today transformed into a banyan tree. After Dattatraybhau, his son Prataprao Khandve and his grandson Pritamdada Khandve have also contributed significantly to this school.

While Pritamdada Khandve was the Sub-Sarpanch, he worked on setting up sports equipment in the school. Similarly, there was a shortage of toilets for the students. To address this shortage, Pritamdada has built a toilet in the school at his own expense.

Due to increasing urbanization in Khandwe Nagar, it was necessary to expand the Zilla Parishad School there.

During Prataprao Khandve's tenure as a Zilla Parishad member, he constructed a spacious building for the Zilla Parishad School in Khandve Nagar. Similarly, when Pritamdada Khandve was the Deputy Sarpanch of Lohgaon, he did the work of laying paving blocks in the premises of this school.

With the aim of developing the personality of the youth, an English-speaking class is organized every year by Pritamdada Khandve. Young children from Lohgaon participate in this class. So far, more than 5,000 children have benefited from this English-speaking class.

In Lohegaon area, D. Y. Patil Institute, Bharati University, Kasegaon Education, Marathwada Education Society, Vikhe Patil Public School Prataprao Khandve and Pritam Khandve provided valuable support and brought big institutions to the Lohegaon area to provide space and infrastructure for such institutions.
