I started my political journey inspired by the public service of my grandfather, freedom fighter Dattatray Rambhau Khandve (Patil). My father, Prataprao Khandve (Patil), stood firmly by my side like a backbone.
It is because of his support that I have been on my political, social and business journey till date.
My family has consistently contributed to public service for the past 75 years. Following in the tread of my grandfather and father, I too entered politics.
Like my grandfather and father, I was also blessed by the people of Lohegaon and became the deputy sarpanch of Lohegaon.
During my tenure, I started 45 Anganwadis and provided education to children. At that time, I renovated the government hospital and also built roads worth Rs 30 lakh in Sant Nagar at my own expense.
